Mr Brendan Andrew Pinto

Ministry of Finance
Brendan oversees the resourcing needs for agencies such as the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He also develops and reviews the resourcing policies for projects relating to Singapore’s national resilience. During Budget 2024, Brendan coordinated engagement sessions with professionals, youth, academia, and grassroots leaders to capture insights and feedback to shape the national budget and policies. Brendan graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor Degree in Political Science.
Dr Germin Ong
Director (Sector Capability Development Department)
Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority
Germin leads a team that is responsible for generating insights and developing strategy to drive the growth, productivity, digitalisation and transformation of Singapore’s accountancy sector. He is a Chartered Accountant (Singapore), and holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), a Master of Science in Management from the University College Dublin, and a Doctorate in Education from NTU.
Ms Tan Sock Hian
Head (Assurance)
Accountant-General's Department
Sock Hian handles internal audit projects for government agencies where she contributes to the strengthening of corporate governance and controls. She has completed postings with the Land Transport Authority’s Internal Audit department and MOF’s Social Programmes directorate. At MOF, she reviewed policies and resourcing requirements for Singapore’s education initiatives, and schemes for lower-wage workers. Sock Hian graduated from the Nanyang Technological University with a Degree in Accountancy.
Mr Chua Kah Swee
Senior Assistant Director (Group 4)

Kah Swee conducts audits of public sector entities, and also assisted in the formulation of AGO’s audit work plan during his stint at the Strategic Planning and Policy Department. He recently completed a two-year secondment to the Commercial Affairs Department, where he investigated cases involving Government grant and procurement fraud. Kah Swee graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Double Degree in Business Administration (Accountancy) and Economics.
Mr Ang Ming Kwan
Senior Assistant Director (International Tax and Relations Division)
Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore
Ming Kwan has 10 years of experience in tax investigation and tax audit. He currently leads a team that helps to combat tax evasion and ensure tax compliance amongst financial institutions. Ming Kwan graduated with a Bachelor in Accountancy from the Nanyang Technological University.
